About the game

In RoadCraft you run a company that restores sites devastated by natural disasters. With heavy machinery at your disposal you get local industry moving again from scratch: clearing debris, replacing damaged equipment, rebuilding roads and bridges torn apart by the weather, and dispatching resource convoys to produce new construction materials.

The game runs on a new engine built by Saber Interactive, the studio behind MudRunner and SnowRunner. Every object behaves according to realistic physics based on its mass and size, you work with sand, wood and asphalt, and you can reshape the terrain yourself – a freshly laid road then makes life easier for your whole fleet.

Machinery and progression

Each machine handles differently. A bulldozer clears obstructions, a heavy transporter carries several vehicles at once, fixed or gantry cranes lift containers and equipment. A cable layer reconnects a factory to the power grid, a paver lays hot asphalt and a roller flattens it into a finished road. Working through the story-driven campaign unlocks over 40 vehicles, which you can repaint in your own colours and brand with your company logo in the garage.

World and maps

Disasters have cut off access to many affected areas and your company is the last hope. You explore 8 distinct maps, each 4 km², with their own biomes and buildings – from mountains through desert to the coast. You choose your own route, whether past abandoned factories, submerged dams or out-of-service solar fields. Remnants of wood, steel and cement are collected and turned into new components at your recycling plant. Completed contracts earn funds and XP.
