About the game

Eternal Threads is a first-person narrative puzzle game about manipulating time, choices, and their consequences. As a temporal agent, you are sent to May 2015 in northern England with the task of preventing a devastating house fire that killed six people.

Rewriting the past

Instead of directly intervening against the fire, you change the decisions of the house’s residents during the preceding week so that they survive. The game lets you observe and replay events, change characters’ key decisions, and watch how those changes ripple across the entire timeline.

Nonlinear storytelling

Each character has several paths to survival, each with different consequences for their future life. The house’s environment dynamically changes based on your interventions in the past, while you stand in the present amid the fire-damaged house.
