We operate an e-shop on the website www.begamer.cz
We process certain personal data for the purpose of selling goods and operating our website.
The processing of personal data is governed in particular by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (“GDPR”)
I. Processing of Personal Data
A. Processing of personal data when using the contact form
If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with the contact details you provide to us, primarily through the inquiry form. These include: first and last name, email address, and information about the goods
For what reason?
We will use these to contact you for further arrangements regarding the goods.
On what legal basis?
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiation of a contract, or implementation of measures prior to entering into a contract at your request.
How long will we process the personal data?
If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for a maximum of 1 year from our last communication.
B. Processing of personal data in case of purchase
If you make a purchase from us, we will work with the data you provide. These are mainly billing details: first name, last name, address, information about the goods, and phone contact
For what reason?
We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver our goods to you.
We will also use your contact details to communicate with you regarding the status of your order, or regarding complaints or your inquiries.
We will further process personal data to fulfill our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or for handling complaints).
On what legal basis do we process personal data?
This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – fulfillment of our legal obligation.
How long will we process the personal data?
Data processed for the purpose of fulfilling a contract is kept for the duration of the contractual relationship and for a further 1 year after its termination (for example, for handling complaints or related claims).
Data that is part of accounting documents is kept for the period prescribed by law, usually 10 years.
C. Newsletters (commercial communications)
If you are a purchasing customer and did not opt out during the purchase, we will use your email address to send you our news.
On what legal basis?
This is permitted by Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on certain information society services, provided you did not opt out during the purchase.
How long will we process the personal data? For 2 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from the mailing list at any time via email or by contacting us at: info@begamer.cz
II. Who gets access to the data?
Your data stays with us. However, some companies or other persons work for us and gain access to the data because they help us run our e-shop. These are:
● hosting and IT service providers who take care of the operation and security of our systems,
● carriers and logistics companies so they can deliver the goods to you,
● payment service providers (e.g., payment gateways, banks) so we can receive and process your payment,
● accounting and tax advisors, if required by law,
● marketing and analytical services that help us improve our services and communication with customers (e.g., sending newsletters).
The current list of our contractual partners who have access to personal data will be provided to you upon request at the email address info@begamer.cz.
We process personal data only within the European Union.
III. What else you should know
Our company does not have a designated Data Protection Officer.
Our company does not engage in decision-making based on automated processing or profiling.

V. Your rights in connection with the processing of personal data
The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data of yours we process, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request restriction of processing; you can request a copy of the processed personal data, request the erasure of personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases, you have the right to data portability. Against processing based on legitimate interest
an objection can be raised.
If you believe that we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or to turn to a court with your claims.
